Overview of Street Occupancy Permits

A Street Occupancy Permit is required whenever any work or storage of materials is to take place on any street, alley, or public right-of-way within the City of Wauwatosa.

Street Occupancy Permits are issued by the Engineering Services Division

There are three different types of Street Occupancy Permit:

•      Drive approach, sidewalk, and paving
•      Storing of materials (includes dumpsters)
•      City right-of-way excavation or construction
