Board of Public Works
Overview
Responsibilities of the Board of Public Works include review, recommendations, and decisions on:

  • Capital improvement projects and public works contracts
  • Special assessments for paving, drive approach and sidewalk improvements
  • Appeals of city orders and ordinances (property maintenance, graffiti, wells, snow/ice removal, etc.)
  • Purchases of public works equipment, vehicles, and materials
  • Street vendor licenses for vehicles or vending in business parking lots
  • Encroachments/use of city right-of-way
  • Variances from city code requirements
  • Signage in city right-of-way

Location: Wauwatosa City Hall
  7725 W. North Ave. 
  Wauwatosa, WI  53213 
Where:  Committee Room 1, (2nd floor) 
When:   Monday before the first Tuesday of the month
  Monday before the third Tuesday of the month
Time: 8:30 am
