The month of June brought us the end of school, the beginning of summer, and tons of Tosa events. Through it all emerged some of our favorite moments that make Tosa a vibrant place to live and visit.
Here are three great things in Tosa this June:
- We welcomed neighbors, elected officials, and guests from the Library and K9 Police Unit to officially open the Pedestrian Plaza. This new park space at 69th and North Avenue has picnic tables, canopy shade, and giant chairs made for tourists' selfies. It's location in East Tosa is central to many businesses and restaurants. Watch CBS 58 coverage of the event.
- A popular feature of our website called "You Ask, We Answer" reached thousands on social media. Have a Wauwatosa-related question? We'll answer it and share it across social media. We're glad you enjoyed our post about free dirt and mulch at the drop off center.
- We can't get enough of your Tosa photos, so we've developed a contest to showcase them. The annual #TosaLife photo contest runs through August 31. To submit a photo, visit www.tosaphotos.com. Prizes will be awards to winners in four categories.
