August 15 marks the national day to show Wauwatosa pride
On August 15, you are invited to participate in City Hall Selfie Day. As the name suggests, it involves taking a selfie at City Hall (or any other city building like the Library, Public Works Yard or Police and Fire Stations). This celebration of local government and the services they provide was started by Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL), an organization dedicated to connecting municipal employees and sharing their ideas.
How do I participate?
- Take a selfie. Snap a photo of yourself or with friends at City Hall or other city building (selfie stick optional).
- Post it. On August 15, share your photo on social media with the hashtag #CityHallSelfie. Twitter users can also tag @WauwatosaWI and @CityHallSelfie in their post.
- It’s as easy as that! And you don’t need to wait until August 15th to take your photo. Every day is a good day for a City Hall selfie!
