Post Date:08/09/2018 11:54 AM

Underwood/Harmonee Avenue
We continue to work on curbs, sidewalk, street lights and trees in August in front of the recently opened apartment complex. We anticipate laying asphalt before Labor Day in this area.

Root Common and Pocket Park
We mowed the sod for the first time the other day and continue to generously water and tend to these redesigned parks. Next week we are installing play equipment, including musical instruments, in Root Common Park. Make sure to check them out at the Root Series Concert on Thursday, August 16, 6-8pm.

State St. from 68th to 74th
Great news – we are projected to open two-way traffic by the end of the day on August 17th on State Street. To make that happen, we’ll be working on curbs and paving next week. After the two-way traffic is open, we’ll work on sidewalks.

Harley-Davidson’s 115th Anniversary -  “Party in the Park”
Save the dates of August 29 - September 1, 6 - 11 pm each night. We are eager to welcome thousands of visitors. Come join the fun with music and vendors at Hart Park. Know that 70th Street from State St. to Honey Creek Parkway will be closed from 4 - 11pm, August 29 – September 1 to accommodate motorcycle parking. Additionally, Chestnut St. (the curved pathway entrance into Hart Park off of 70th St.) will also be designated parking for motorcycles. Parking volunteers will help direct motorcycles.
