Tosa Residents Build Maps
As part of National GIS Day, we collected data from you to make maps of Wauwatosa
A geographic information system (GIS) is a framework for gathering, managing, and analyzing data. Rooted in the science of geography, we use GIS to integrate lots of data.
This technology reveals deeper insights to help us make data-driven decisions. We can see traffic patterns, crime relationships, business district areas, and other data in a visual way. See all of our Wauwatosa maps.
We're celebrated National GIS Day in November in a fun and interactive way. Visitors to the Public Library and City Hall puzzle-pieced together Wauwatosa neighborhoods, pin-pointed their favorite Wauwatosa spots, and learned about the maps we're building.
Here are the of maps of Wauwatosa that you helped us build:
Thank you for helping us celebrate!
