Holiday Tree and Wreath Collection

Curbside pickup available through the end of January
Post Date:01/01/2019 9:54 AM

Real trees and wreaths that are clear of wrappings, wire, metal, nails and tree stands can be placed at the curb on regular collection days and will be chipped into mulch. Do not put trees in alleys. This is available the entire month of January.

Find your collection schedule.

Note: we are aware that there is caution from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources about wreaths with potentially invasive species in them. There have been no reports of infestations in Christmas trees.

At this time, we are handling trees and wreaths as we normally do. Our Public Works composts bare Christmas trees and wreaths that are left at the curb. Please do not put them in bags.

If you wish to bag a wreath that you think is infested, please place them in the trash instead of the curb. Wreaths with wire should go in the trash.

We do not recommend burning holiday trees or wreaths within city limits.
