A guide to spring property maintenance

City-wide program encourages property maintenance for building strong neighborhoods
Post Date:04/29/2019 8:30 AM

Spring is finally here, and many neighbors are starting outdoor maintenance. As we all begin yard and house maintenance, we want to share more information about the city's property maintenance program. The goal of our program is to have strong neighborhoods with homes that are property maintained.

Here are a few ways in which we ask you to preserve the value of your property:

  • Ensure that your grass is not taller than 6 inches in height
  • Repair chipped paint and broken or missing siding
  • Keep fences properly maintained
  • Get rid of tall grass and weeds from side or rear yard storage areas
  • Fix any broken windows

If you are concerned about the maintenance of a property, please let us know using the online Property Maintenance Service Request Form and a Code Enforcement Officer will follow up with the property owner.
