Preview the Week of May 13 Meetings
Committees meet this week to discuss equity and inclusion, grant funding for various programs that address housing, and rat education.
Standing Council Committees meet at City Hall in the Committee meeting rooms located on the 2nd floor on the second and last Tuesday of each month. Committee start times can vary. All meetings are open to the public. Public comment is welcome in discussions at the committee level at the discretion of the committee chair.

Notable topics during the week of May 13 include:
- Government Affairs (May 14, 7:30 pm) will review a special event permit for Greek Fest, discuss creation of a policy related to fireworks displays, and continue the discussion related to equity and inclusion. Public comment was taken on May 14, so there is no public comment during this meeting.
- Community Affairs (May 14, 7:00 pm) will discuss possible change to rat education, control, and awareness.
- Financial Affairs (May 14, 6 pm) will discuss Community Development Block Grant program funding levels. This funding goes towards a number of organizations that address housing needs, suitable living environment, and expanded economic opportunities for low and moderate income persons.
