Bublr Bikes

What are Bublr Bikes, and how do you use them?
Post Date:06/24/2019 9:30 AM

Bublr Bikes is a bike ride share system accessible throughout Greater Milwaukee, including here in Wauwatosa. Bublr bikers simply pick a bike from a Bublr station, enjoy their ride to wherever they choose to go, and then return the bike to any nearby Bublr station.

Bublr Bikes can be used as a method of transportation, for health benefits, as a means of exploring the city, or simply for fun. With 16 different Bublr Bike stations placed strategically around Wauwatosa, there are many places to go and explore the city with the convenience and freedom of a Bublr Bike.

There are many different passes Bublr bikers can choose from for their rides, with a variety prices:

Single Ride: $4

A single ride on a Bublr Bike gives the biker up to a 30 minute ride, which can be checked out at any Bublr Bike kiosk. Bikers can also pay an additional $4 for every additional 30 minutes spent on the bike.

24-Hour Pass: $24

The 24-Hour Pass gives Bublr bikers 24-hour access to bikes, which can be checked out at any Bublr Bike kiosk. Bikers can dock their bikes at any time, then simply select “I have a membership” at the kiosk to check out another bike within the allotted 24 hours. Bikers will automatically be charged for an additional 24 hours if they do not return their Bublr Bike on time.

30 Day Pass: $30

The 30 Day Pass allows bikers one month (30 days) access to all Bublr Bikes for up to 60 minutes per trip. 30 Day Pass bikers may use the B-cycle App to check out a bike, instead of doing so at the kiosk, or they can purchase a $5 key fob to check out a bike. Bikers can also pay an additional $3 for every additional 30 minutes spent on the bike.

Annual Pass: $80

The Annual Pass allows Bublr bikers to use a free key fob instead of the kiosk to check out a bike for up to 60 minutes per ride, for 1 whole year. Bikers can also pay an additional $3 for every additional 30 minutes spent on the bike.

Annual Pass +: $120

The Annual Pass + allows Bublr bikers to use a free key fob to check out a bike for up to 120 minutes per ride, for 1 whole year. The Annual Pass + also comes with a free Bicycle Benefits sticker, courtesy of Bublr Bikes. Bikers can also pay an additional $3 for every additional 30 minutes spent on the bike.

Buslr: $80

The Buslr Pass is very similar to the Annual Pass, but instead of using a key fob to grab a bike, your Bublr Bike information goes right onto the bikers' M-CARD (Milwaukee County Transit System card). Bikers can also pay an additional $3 for every additional 30 minutes spent on the bike.
