Southeast Wisconsin - Housing Survey

Survey: have you experienced discrimination in finding housing?
Post Date:08/28/2019 12:00 PM

Purpose of the Housing Survey

We receive community development block grant funds through the Department of Housing and Urban Development. As part of these funds, it's required that we analyze any potential challenges faced by residents or potential residents in housing, particularly as it relates to discrimination.

The City of Wauwatosa, City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, City of West Allis, and Waukesha County have hired Applied Real Estate Analysis (AREA), Inc. to conduct a housing study for communities in the Southeast Wisconsin region. In particular, we want to learn about challenges faced by residents because of perceived discrimination based on a person’s race, color, sex, age, religion, disability, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, marital status, parental status, military discharge status, source of income, gender identity, or housing status.

Take the Survey

Your feedback is essential to fully understand fair housing access and housing issues. Thank you for your participation. All responses are confidential and anonymous.
