Nominate a Home or Business for Preservation of Property Award

The City of Wauwatosa Historic Preservation Commission is now accepting applications for its Preservation of Properties Awards.

This is your chance to recognize and express appreciation to people who take care of their property and who make your neighborhood a good place to live.

Awards are presented each year to honor exterior improvements to residential, commercial, and public property in the City of Wauwatosa. The nominated property must be at least 50 years old, and the improvements must have been completed within five years prior to the date of nomination. The Commission will evaluate applications that best reflect the Historical Guidelines Manual.

Applications are accepted until March 20, 2019. Download an application.

The award will be presented at a Common Council meeting in honor of Historic Preservation Month. View past award recipients.
