Preview the Week of March 9 Meetings

Committees meet this week to discuss parking recommendations on 99th Street and Marion Street, a new vendor for payment processing, and a zoning code amendment to make massage establishments a conditional use

Standing Council Committees meet at City Hall in the Committee meeting rooms located on the 2nd floor on the second and last Tuesday of each month. Committee start times can vary. All meetings are open to the public. Public comment is welcome in discussions at the committee level at the discretion of the committee chair.

Draft agendas are posted on Friday evenings, and final agendas are posted the day before a meeting. You can view all meetings, minutes, and videos of certain meetings online.

Notable topics during the week of March 9 include:

  • Government Affairs (March 10, 6:30 pm) will discuss the annual Police and Fire Commission report
  • Transportation Affairs (March 10, 6:30 pm) will discuss parking recommendations on 99th Street and Marion Street, limited parking on a portion of North 120th St, and the overnight street parking ordinance
  • Financial Affairs (March 10, 7:30 pm) will discuss a new vendor for payment processing
  • Community Affairs (March 10, 7:30 pm) will review a zoning code amendment to make massage establishments a conditional use and hear a communicable disease update from the Health Department

Plan Commission meets on March 9, 6:00 pm. Topics include:

  • A certified survey map from Children's Hospital of Wisconsin to combine its leased parcels
  • A public hearing related to Aloha Poke - a proposed restaurant at 1417 Wauwatosa Avenue
  • A public hearing related to Daddy's on Blue Mound - a proposed restaurant at 6108 West Blue Mound
  • A public hearing related to Teriyaki Madness - a proposed restaurant at 12345 West Capitol Drive
  • A public hearing related to Loop - a proposed restaurant at 7505 Harwood Avenue
