Submit your Absentee Request Months Ahead of the Election

Registered voters can request to vote absentee for the next elections
Post Date:05/20/2020 2:45 PM

Did you know that registered voters can request to vote absentee in upcoming elections, even months prior to an election? In 2020, Wauwatosa voters will participate in two more elections: August 11 and November 3.

To protect your health and the health of our staff and poll workers, we highly encourage absentee voting. We still plan to offer in person early voting and voting on Election Day.

Your ballot won’t be mailed to you until much closer to the election, but making a request now ensures that we have time to verify your voter registration status, valid photo ID, and address.

The earliest we can mail ballots is June 24 for the August 11, 2020 election and September 16 for the November 3, 2020 election. The last day we can mail an absentee ballot to a registered voter is the Thursday before an election.

Start your request on myvote.wi.gov.
