Parade at 9:00 am
Join us for one of the largest parades in the State of Wisconsin. Wauwatosa’s parade will start at 80th and North Avenue and run west to 104th Street.
North Avenue between 76th and 104th Street will be closed starting at 7:00 am on Monday, July 4, 2022. We ask that you place your parade chairs no earlier than 6:00 am on July 4.
Hart Park Activities in the afternoon
1 - 3 pm Family Fun Fest at the Muellner Building in Hart Park. Bring your decorated bike for a chance to win prizes from local businesses. Bring one non-perishable food item to register decorated bikes, trikes, wagons, scooters, etc. for prizes. We'll also have free ice cream, face painting, and balloon twisting. All age groups are welcome.
4 pm - Tosa Esprit Poms
5 pm Tosa Tonight with opening act Sarah Day, followed by 52nd Street (Billy Joel tribute) at 6:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Fireworks at 9:30 pm on August 3, 2022
The Wauwatosa Fireworks were rescheduled to August 3 at 9:30 pm. Also at Hart Park that night is a Tosa Tonight concert and Tosa Night Out. The Esprit Poms & Dance Squad will perform at 5:30 pm at the Rotary Stage.
Fireworks will be launched from 63rd and River Parkway. The best viewing spots are in Hart Park (7300 W Chestnut Street, Wauwatosa). Bring your chair or blanket and sit near the Rotary Stage. Or, find a spot in the bleachers at the track.
70th Street between State Street and Honey Creek Parkway will be closed after 7:00 pm.
There are restrooms near the Rotary Stage and near the track.
