Overview of the Project

The City of Wauwatosa’s contractors will be upgrading the storm sewers and water main and repaving 109th Street. The storm sewers are all undersized and need to be replaced before we repave 109th Street. This project will last from March 2025 through summer.

Impacts and Closures

After construction begins, 109th Street will be closed from Potter Road to Wisconsin Avenue. Local traffic (including visitors and employees to businesses on 109th Street) will be able to access all properties within the work zone. However, we anticipate coordinating access at different points in the project.

Upcoming Open House

Join us for an open house about construction on 109th Street. The open house will be held February 27, 4-5:30 pm at Wauwatosa Public Works (11100 W Walnut Rd).
