Open House: Western Milwaukee Phase 2B Levee and Floodwall Project

Post Date:03/05/2025 8:40 AM

Curious about the work taking place along the river south of the railroad track? Wondering if construction will continue on State Street? Join Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District (MMSD) for an open house on March 12, 5:30 - 7:00 pm at the Hawthorn Glen Nature Center (1130 N 60th Street, Milwaukee).

The project team will answer these questions and more. At the open house, you can learn about:

  • the importance of this project
  • completed work to date
  • work planned for 2025
  • new detours during this phase of the project

This is also an opportunity for the project team to listen to concerns you may have.

About the Project
