Wauwatosa invites the community to attend the 5th Annual Wisconsin Veterans Day Parade, which has moved to historic downtown Wauwatosa this year. The parade – beginning at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 8, 2025 – is notably the only remaining active Veterans Day Parade in the state. The parade will kick off at the corner of State Street and Harwood Avenue. Leff’s Lucky Town (7208 W. State Street, Wauwatosa) will serve as the pre- and post-parade headquarters, with a viewing stand at this location.

“We’re thrilled by the community support for the parade. I’m especially excited that the parade will kick off this year with the Wauwatosa Joint School Choir singing the National Anthem, along with a military flyover,” said Dan Richards, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and Secretary of the WVCF Board. “More than a hundred motorcycles will escort the beginning of the parade, more than 500 veterans plan to participate, and there will be more than 50 military vehicles. We’re also excited to have the Daley Debutantes and the Milwaukee Dancing Grannies joining the parade. It’s going to be a wonderful day to honor the service and commitment of America’s veterans in a family friendly atmosphere.”

Over the last few years, the WVCF parade has featured an average of about one hundred parade units, including bands, school groups, active duty military organizations, local veterans organizations, businesses and elected officials.

Road Impacts:

Roads will start to close around 9:00 a.m. as the units line up.
