Discover Wauwatosa is partnering with Heat Haven to bring a new wellness experience to Hart Park this winter. Beginning Friday, November 21, residents and visitors can enjoy wood-fired barrel saunas, cooling stations, a community firepit area, and food and drink concessions — all part of Heat Haven’s seasonal sauna park experience. The park will remain open daily through April 2026.

“Hart Park hosts so many incredible outdoor recreation and lifestyle activities in the warmer months,” said Beth Gleesing, Discover Wauwatosa tourism specialist. “We’re excited to partner with Heat Haven to utilize this space in a new and fun way that supports community interaction and benefits local businesses.”

Opening weekend festivities begin Friday, November 21, with live music, yoga and movement classes, and sauna sessions throughout the weekend. Local fitness instructors will lead 45- to 60-minute classes that pair physical activity with sauna use — a key part of Heat Haven’s mission to combine movement and wellness.

“The idea is to create a community that shares a passion for a healthy lifestyle,” said Jesse Hieb, co-founder of Heat Haven. “We want to collaborate with local fitness leaders so participants can discover the services already available right here in Wauwatosa.”

The sauna park will be located just south of the newly renovated Muellner Building in Hart Park, near the Oak Leaf Trail and The Village’s shops and restaurants. Anyone interested in booking a sauna or sauna/movement package can do so at HeatHaven.co.
