Nominations are now open for the City of Wauwatosa Historic Preservation Commission’s POP (Preservation of Properties) Awards and will be accepted through February 27, 2026.

This is an opportunity to recognize and thank property owners who take pride in caring for their buildings and help make our neighborhoods great places to live.

POP Awards honor high-quality exterior improvements to residential, commercial, and public properties throughout Wauwatosa. To be eligible, the property must be at least 50 years old, and the improvements must have been completed within the past five years. Applications will be evaluated based on how well the work aligns with the City’s Historic Guidelines Manual.

The awards will be presented at the May 19, 2026 Common Council meeting in honor of Historic Preservation Month.
