Dockless electric scooters will once again be available in Wauwatosa for the 2026 season, offering residents and visitors a convenient and sustainable way to travel short distances throughout the city.
Following approval by the Board of Public Works, Lime will relaunch its scooter program beginning Wednesday, April 1, with a gradual rollout of approximately 125 scooters by early April. Scooters will be placed throughout the community in public right-of-way areas, with care taken to avoid obstructing pedestrian travel. Additional scooters may be added throughout the season based on demand.
The City’s Dockless Scooter Program is designed to improve mobility, reduce reliance on motor vehicles for short trips, and enhance connectivity to destinations across Wauwatosa. At the same time, the City has established clear operational requirements to ensure scooters are used safely and responsibly, including proper parking, maintenance standards, and timely response to issues.
