REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Audiovisual system replacement in Council Chambers, Committee Rooms 1 and 2, and
AV Control Room at Wauwatosa City Hall
PROPOSALS REQUESTED: Formal sealed proposals, in duplicate (One (1) unbound original, and One (1) electronic copy, disk or drive) will be received until 11:01 A.M. Wednesday, December 18, 2019, by the City of Wauwatosa Purchasing Coordinator, at City Hall, 7725 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
The City of Wauwatosa is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for the purchase and installation of a complete audio visual system for the City’s Council Chambers, Committee Rooms 1 and 2, and the AV Control Room located at the City Hall building, located at 7725 W North Avenue, Wauwatosa, WI, 53213 in accordance with this Official Notice and Request for Proposal Specification dated November 13, 2019, together with Scope of Work Documents made part thereof.
A pre-proposal meeting to discuss the project will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 10 AM. Interested parties should meet at the City’s Council Chamber, 7725 W North Avenue, Wauwatosa, WI 53213. The purpose of this meeting is to respond to questions and provide any needed additional information to vendors for the submission of their proposal.

Copies of the contract documents may be obtained by contacting the City of Wauwatosa Purchasing Department Office, (414) 479-8958. All requests for documents will be fulfilled via email only.
All proposal prices shall be firm for the life of the contract subject to acceptance of a proposal within sixty (60) days from date of proposal opening. Unit prices to govern.
Proposer certifies that their proposal has been made without connection to any other vendor and is, in all respects, fair and without collusion or fraud, and is made with the understanding that no elected official or Wauwatosa City employee has an interest, directly or indirectly, unless otherwise stated.
PATENTED DEVICES, EQUIPMENT AND PROCESSES: It is understood and agreed that without exception, bid prices include all royalties and costs arising from patents, trademarks, and copyrights. The successful bidder shall, in all cases, indemnify and save harmless the City of Wauwatosa from any and all claims for infringement by reason of the use of any such patented design, device, material, or process to be used or delivered, and shall indemnify the said City of Wauwatosa for any cost, expense, and damage which it may be obliged to pay by reason of such infringement, at any time during or after delivery.
The City of Wauwatosa reserves, exclusively to itself, the right to reject any or all proposals, or to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the City and to waive any or all technicalities or informalities in submitted proposals. No alterations or modifications to bids shall be allowed after bid opening.
