A defendant may ask the court for relief from judgment for the following of reasons:

  1. Failure to attend scheduled court hearing.
  2. Newly discovered evidence that was not attained in time for a new trial. 
  3. Fraud, misrepresentation, of other misconduct of an adverse party.
  4. Other reasons justifying relief from the judgment. 

The motion must be filed within a reasonable amount of time but no later than one year of judgment for reasons (1), (2), and (3) above.
