Project Overview

Wauwatosa will be upgrading the storm sewers and water main and repaving 109th Street. The storm sewers are all undersized and need to be replaced before we repave 109th Street.

This project will last from March 2025 through summer.

Impacts and Closures

• 109th Street between Potter Road and Wisconsin Avenue will be closed.
• Local traffic will be able to access all properties and businesses within the work zone. However, there will be times that businesses will need to coordinate with the construction crew for deliveries or access.

Open House

Join us for an open house about construction on 109th Street. The open house will be held February 27, 4-5:30 pm at Wauwatosa Public Works (11100 W Walnut Rd).
