Project Scope

In 2025 and 2026, the City of Wauwatosa has numerous improvements planned for Watertown Plank Road and N 115th Street:

  • Narrow and repave the road from 124th Street to 116th Street, and repave the road from 116th Street to the railroad bridge east of 113th Street.
  • Off-street bicycle lanes and sidewalks will be constructed from 124th Street to the bridge over the railroad tracks east of 113th Street on both sides of Watertown Plank Road.
  • New traffic signals at 116th Street and 115th Street and new street lighting throughout the project corridor.
  • A rectangular rapid flashing beacon will be installed on Watertown Plank Road at the greenway crossing at 118th Street.
  • Narrow and repave 115th Street from Watertown Plank Road to Underwood Parkway.
  • Construct a multiuse trail along 115th Street from Watertown Plank Road to the Oak Leaf Trail near Underwood Parkway.
  • Construct storm sewer improvements and minor watermain and sanitary sewer improvements.
