The Wauwatosa Community Development Authority is reviewing proposals to purchase and redevelop the property located at 1600 North 113th Street, a portion of the former landfill site in Wauwatosa.
The Wauwatosa Community Development Authority (CDA) received two responses to their RFP for redevelopment of an 18-acre former landfill parcel at 1600 North 113th Street. Proposals from Wangard Partners Inc. and Luther Group included warehousing and speculative buildings. After much discussion in confidential, closed-session, the CDA made a tough decision to reject both proposals. The CDA will continue to consider other possible proposals for the land to achieve the highest and best use for that location. The parcel is zoned M1 – Light Industrial.
The Community Development Authority posted a request for proposal on April 15, 2019. We accepted proposals until 2pm on May 30, 2019.
The Community Development Authority received two proposals. Each respondent has until December 3, 2019 to identify specific tenants and return with their findings.
