Wauwatosa School Safety Report
In response to concerns that safety for school children arriving and departing from both Madison School on 100th Street, and the three schools on Center Street needed improvement, the City and the School District retained the firm of Ayres Associates to produce the Wauwatosa School Safety Report, taking a look at both locations and make recommendations how to improve safety.
Schoonmaker Creek Watercourse System Planning
The City of Wauwatosa, MMSD, and the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (SEWRPC) have been working together on a comprehensive study to understand what possible investments in infrastructure could mitigate flooding from Schoonmaker Creek. On November 13, 2017, SEWRPC presented several possible options at an open house, encouraging public feedback in the process.
