Liquid Petroleum/Gaseous Storage Permit

Overview of permit

Permits will be required for gaseous storage or handling of Liquid Petroleum (LP) or any other compressed liquified gas tanks/containers exceeding 100 gallons (423 pounds) or larger.

How to apply

You can apply online using this self-service portal. You can upload any needed documents and process payments online. 

The following information will be needed to apply for a liquid petroleum/gaseous storage permit:

  • The number of tanks
  • Sizes of each tank
  • Placement and removal dates of the tanks on site
  • Total aggregate capacity of tanks. Fees are based on a total aggregate capacity

Fees include a $75.00 site fee and $10.00 per 1,000 gallons.
