- Each applicant must personally appear at the Wauwatosa Police Department, located at 1700 N. 116 Street, and complete a paper application for a Direct Sellers Permit.
- A photo ID (preferably a State photo driver's license or ID) must be presented with the application.
- A $50 non-refundable fee must be paid.
- If issued, the permit MUST be worn during soliciting.
Upon payment of the $50 fee and submission of the permit application, there is a 24-hour waiting period before the permit is issued to the applicant. If the permit is denied for any reason, the fee is not refundable.
An issued permit is valid for a period of one year from the date of issuance.
